Dyadic Olfaction composes the perfume as two scent identities in one formula. The opening (yuzu, black currant, passionfruit) hands over through cardamom, saffron and geranium into a base of agarwood, leather and benzoin - a designed turn, not a fade.

Crown Cardinal is an eau de parfum, and oud, leather and benzoin are among the most tenacious materials in perfumery - this is one of the longest-wearing scents in the collection. It opens with real projection, then settles into a rich, close-worn depth that lasts through an evening and often into the next morning on fabric. A little goes far; two sprays are plenty.

It leans masculine in character - the spiced-oud landing has a traditionally masculine gravity - but Monzzaro is unisex by design, and Crown Cardinal wears with striking authority on anyone who loves depth and spice. Scent has no gender; only presence.
